Keen Energy Services, based in Stillwater, OK, provides contract drilling services for oil and gas exploration and production companies, primarily in the mid-continent region of the United States. It is consistently one of Oklahoma's most active drilling contractors. Founded in 1991, Keen Energy Services has a long history of providing superior drilling services to its customers, which include Chesapeake Energy, Dominion Resources and Newfield Exploration. Currently, the company provides its services under dayrate contracts with the vast majority of its customers.

At year end 2005, Keen Energy Services had 12 rigs operating in the field. Management is in the process of adding 24 more rigs to its fleet by the end of the second quarter of 2007. The company also maintains its own fleet of 39 trucks, two cranes and eight dozers to move rigs between well locations. Keen Energy Services has a pipe and rig yard as well as vehicle maintenance shop behind its corporate headquarters.
