NJ Wazaney

NJ Wazaney is the Chief Executive Officer at Blue Ocean Aesthetics Holdings, LLC. As a MedTech Executive with more than 30 years of experience in Start-Up and Fortune 500 companies, NJ specializes in launching and growing new technologies, services and companies in the Healthcare and IT space. NJ has a track record of providing successful strategic vision leadership on matters of governance, mission, programs, services and operations to enhance financial stability and growth of an organization. He has seen through the development and implementation of cutting-edge market strategies to out-perform the competitive landscape. In his previous role with Merz Aesthetics, NJ served as Vice President of Alliances & Partnerships on the North American Leadership Team.

Previous roles include CEO of Symplast, VP Corporate Accounts at Ulthera and various sales/leadership roles at TYRX, IDEV, Cardiva Medical, BARD, CardioDynamics, Kimberly Clark and Ballard Medical.

Amy Hammarstrom

Amy Hammarstrom is  Vice President of General Rubber LLC and EFM Equipment Co, LLC. Amy is recognized for being an organized, decisive, system improvement-driven leader. Amy became part of the senior management team in 2002 and has been instrumental in the company’s double-digit growth and increased profitability.

She has a history of simplifying complex reporting systems, with the dual benefit of efficiency and effective day-forward maintenance. She also has significant experience in optimizing employee performance.

Amy currently serves on the  boards of the  Fluid Sealing Association (FSA) and the Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Foundation (SALEF). She has been active in the FSA and its Expansion Joint Division since 2009 and has served as Chair of its Program and Location Committee and Member of its Marketing Committee. She was elected to the Board in 2019 and is currently the Vice-President Elect. Amyis also the current Board Vice-Chair and former Board Chair of SALEF.

Prior to her senior management role at General Rubber, Amy served three years as Controller and General Manager of Tucson Rubber Corporation (a related company). She also spent five years performing accounting/finance, human resource, and inventory management roles, as the Business Manager for Zephyr Press; a direct mail publisher of educational resources for teachers.

Cliff Pennell

Cliff is Founder & President of STONEBREAKER LLC, a Strategic Services Consulting Company based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Established in 2000, STONEBREAKER provides strategic assistance to companies with a focus on general business management, marketing, branding and process optimization.

Current or former clients include Chartwell Investments, NASCAR, PlayCore, Carey International, B.A.S.S., PBR Inc, International Speedway Corporation, Datascan, FSE Energy, Meredith Publishing, CareNet, and Childress Enterprises.

Prior to starting his own business, Cliff spent more than twenty years with R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company where he served on the Company’s Executive Committee and was Senior Vice President – Marketing and Business Strategy & Planning. Cliff also served as President of Sports Marketing Enterprises, a division of RJR. Cliff is a graduate of Wake Forest University.

Thomas Zahn

Tom is the chair of the McGuire Woods Corporate and Private Equity department. He also previously served as a member of the firm’s Board of Partners. Tom focuses his practice on private equity-backed corporate transactions.

Tom regularly represents private equity funds, mezzanine finance funds, family offices and institutional co-investors, independent sponsors, privately held companies and executives in a wide variety of transactional matters, including platform and add-on acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, control, minority, growth and structured equity investments,divestitures, joint ventures, recapitalizations, commercial transactions, executive employment agreements and corporate governance matters.Tom’s transactional experience extends across numerous borders and spans a wide array of industries, including healthcare, energy and infrastructure, education, food and beverage, distribution and manufacturing, consumer products, transportation and technology.

He also regularly acts as outside general counsel for private equity portfolio companies and other private companies that have limited internal legal support resources. Tom leads the Firm’s region independent sponsor roundtable groups in New York and Pennsylvania.

Prior to practicing law, Tom was a strategic sourcing consultant for a global supply chain company now owned by SAP, where he advised numerous companies on cutting-edge strategies for achieving their corporate purchasing objectives.

Julie Wnek

Ms. Julia Wnek has a strong background in strategic financial management of private equity backed companies with a deep and broad focus within the biotech and consulting industries.  Over the past 10 years, Ms. Wnek has led the financial activities of RQM+, a global leader of medical device regulatory and quality consulting.  She has successfully led the organization through two private equity transactions, and several add on acquisitions and integrations.  She is skilled in project management and has successfully led several large programs including the ERP system conversion to NetSuite and legal entity creations in Europe.  Ms. Wnek also has expertise in leading the IT, Legal, Insurance, HR, and Payroll functions of a dynamically growing organization. Ms. Wnek’s career was built on progressive experience in financial planning & analysis and corporate development roles.  She has deep experience in customer contract negotiations, profitability analysis, cash flow management, short and long term business planning and strategy.

Prior to RQM+, Ms. Wnek gained experience from Bayer Healthcare in Corporate Accounting and Finance. She also worked for KPMG as an auditor. She holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh with a Marketing concentration and a B.S. in Accounting from Saint Vincent College. She is an active CPA, has served as an adjunct Accounting Professor at Saint Vincent College and Westmoreland County Community College, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of LifeX Greenhouse, Inc, a regional incubator.

Torrey Galida

Torrey Galida serves as President of Richard Childress Racing overseeing day-to-day operations, corporate strategy, finances, sales,marketing, business development and competition. Galida was promoted to his current position in July 2014, becoming the first person other than team owner Richard Childress to carry that title for the corporation. He is also a member of the board of directors for RCR, a position he was appointed to in July 2014.

Galida is a 30-year veteran of the automotive and motorsports industries. Prior to being promoted to president, he had been chief operating officer for RCR since July 2011.Before joining RCR, he served as Chief Marketing Officer and general manager for TRG Motorsports. He also spent time as president of sports marketing agency Millsport Motorsports, and chief marketing officer at Roush Fenway Racing.

Prior to moving to North Carolina in 2004, Galida spent 12 years with Ford Motor Company. He served in a number of senior-level marketing positions, including vice president of marketing for Ford of Canada, director of advanced product strategy and global motorsports marketing manager for Ford Racing Technology.

After graduation from college, Galida spent six years as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy. He served with a fighter squadron aboard the USS Nimitz and spent three years working on the staff of the Chief of Naval Intelligence at the Navy Command Center at the Pentagon. Galida earned a master's degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado. He and his wife Cathy reside in Cornelius, N.C. They have two adult children.

Mary George

Ms. Mary George has an exceptional history of success in the management of publicly traded and private equity-held consumer products and medical device companies. Throughout her 30+ year career, she has directed the development of internationally renowned branded products and created new paths for companies in transition.  Ms. George most recently held the position of the CEO of Easton Hockey, a leader in the field of ice hockey equipment and served as Co-Chairman of Bell Automotive Products, a leader in the automotive aftermarket accessories category.

Currently, as a co-founder of Morningstar Business Development Group, she advises Venture Capital and Private Equity firms on a wide range of business opportunities.  Ms. George has amassed extensive Board experiences in a variety of industries including Oakley, 3-Day Blinds, Bell Automotive Products, Oreck Corporation, Bell Sports, Red Digital Camera, Swell Inc., Remedy Temp, Tokos Medical Services and Mission Hospital.  She currently serves on the Boards of BRG (formerly Easton-Bell), and is on the Advisory Board of American Securities, a New York based middle-market private equity firm.

Ms. George holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with emphasis in Finance and Marketing.

John Diab

John is the President and CEO of Bordentown Truck Driver Training School, one of the largest commercial driver’s training schools in the country. Under Diab’s leadership, Smith & Solomon and Progressive Truck Driving School has grown to 11 locations in 4 states, helping train more than 55,000 students.

Prior to acquiring Smith & Solomon in 2003, Diab operated two of the northeast’s largest truck stops employing over 300 people and serving the transportation needs of commercial truck drivers and the transportation industry. In 1999, as an extension of the truck stops’ services, Diab started Bordentown Driver Training School to help develop the next generation of high quality commercial truck drivers.

Diab has been a member of the Commercial Vehicle Training Association (CVTA) since 2009 and has been a member of the CVTA Board of Directors since 2011. He has held multiple positions within the association including Legislative Chair, Image Committee Chair and Vice Chair, and was voted Board Member of the Year in 2012. In 2014 Diab was elected Chairman of CVTA. Diab’s current CVTA roles include Motor Carrier Committee Chairman, Executive Committee and Board Member Emeritus.

Mark Skolnik

Mark Skolnik retired as a Sr. Executive of ExxonMobil Corporation in 2011 after 35 years of service. He held significant leadership roles in Refining, Global supply chain management, Chemicals, and Marketing. After the merger of Exxon and Mobil, Mr. Skolnik held the position of Vice President of Global Fuels Marketing. He subsequently took on the role of Director of Strategic Planning and led many of the Corporation’s global divestment activities, concluding over $3 Billion of transactions.Mr. Skolnik was involved over many years with ExxonMobil's employee diversity initiatives, actively participating in the Corporation's various mentoring programs.

Mr. Skolnik has been a member of the Wilson Council, part of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, based in Washington, D.C. Mr. Skolnik also served as Chair of the Thomas Jefferson Partnership Fund and has been involved as a mentor for SCORE (Service Corp. of Retired Executives), helping aspiring entrepreneurs succeed in their business endeavors.

Mr. Skolnik received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Union College and holds an MBA from Wharton Graduate Business School.

Lloyd Aanonsen

Lloyd is the President of Effox-Flextor-Mader/General Rubber best known for their leading Effox, Flextor, Mader and General Rubber brands of dampers and expansion joints utilized primarily in the Power and Industrial markets.

He is a licensed Engineer, with over 35 years of direct expansion joint product development experience. He has led General Rubber through several internationally prestigious projects that required critical products not previously available in the market.

Lloyd began his professional career as an Engineer at Mercer Rubber Company where over the course of 12 years he played a significant role in product development, sales, marketing, manufacturing and field service of rubber expansion joints. His final role with Mercer Rubber was Executive Vice President with profit and loss responsibility. 

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University and a Master's in Business Administration from Dowling College. He has authored numerous articles regarding expansion joints and other flow control products. Within the Fluid Sealing Association (FSA), he has held multiple terms as technical committee chair, division chair and board member. He is an active member of the Hydraulic Institute (HI) and serves on committees relating to Pump Piping (ANSI/HI 9.6.6) and Nozzle Loads (ANSI/HI 9.6.2).

Lisa Casavant

Lisa Casavant is well known for her contagious enthusiasm, fearlessness in business, and being “the glue” in her organization.  It’s important to Lisathat she’s always helping people, which is why she focused her engineering career on medical devices and built a company with an unheard-of level of work-life balance and flexibility for employees, long before the pandemic made those buzz words the norm.  

Lisa is the co-founder of RQM+, the world's leading MedTech service provider, offering consulting, clinical trial,lab and reimbursement services.  Since2008, Lisa and the RQM+ team have grown the company to over 600 employees across 8 countries, with a valuation of $385 million in 2021.  They’ve supported over 1,000 MedTechmanufacturers with 5,000+ projects, helping to get new and improved products to patients worldwide.  

In addition to being a member of the board of directors at RQM+, Lisa is a board member of Mission: Agape, a Pittsburgh-based non-profit focused on addressing food insecurity at its roots and giving children a safe and fulfilling after-school program.  

Lisa is enjoying real estate investing and growing her photography skills with her husband of 23 years and raising their amazing teenagers – a future software engineer and a future music teacher.  She looks forward to family entrepreneurial adventures in the coming years.

Lisa received a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University and a Master of MechanicalEngineering degree from the University of Delaware.

Mark Rohrer

Mark Rohrer’s laser career began in 1990.  He was first involved with repairing surgical lasers, and in 1995 he transitioned into selling aesthetic lasers. Inspired to provide more affordable laser technology, in 2000 he founded Sandstone Medical Technologies, LLC (Sandstone). Based in Birmingham, AL, the Sandstone and Rohrer names became synonymous for providing systems that allowed aesthetic institutions the ability to realize a return on their investment in a shorter period.  In 2012 the assets of Sandstone were purchased by Ellman International (A Cynosure Company).  After fulfilling his 2-year obligations as the EVP of Ellman, Rohrer took a year off. Then in the fall of 2015, he founded Rohrer Aesthetics, LLC.  By offering a complete line of affordable, high quality, reliable energy-based devices, sales increased rapidly year over year. In March  2022, Rohrer Aesthetics, LLC was sold to Blue Ocean Aesthetic Holdings, LLC.

Mark has remained on as the President of Rohrer Aesthetics, Inc and is proud of the partnership with Blue Ocean Aesthetic Holdings.

Jack Tomayko

John (Jack) R. Tomayko received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Villanova University and his Ph.D. in Health Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. Jack has been a CEO for over 35 years operating healthcare companies; MAIN Medical,Inc., The Tomayko Group (TTG), and TTG Imaging Solutions. During his tenure, the companies received 18 awards representing Fastest Growth, Best Places to Work and Healthiest Employer. In 2012, he was awarded the Ernst & Young RegionalEntrepreneur of the Year in the Healthcare Division. Jack is a Board Member of TTG Imaging Solutions. He also serves on the non-profit Boards for Point Park University, College of Fine Arts / Carnegie Mellon University, School of Education/University of Pittsburgh, and the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council.

Maria Fagan

Described as “a visionary with a creative, calm, and focused mind that can make it happen” Maria is cofounder of RQM+, the world’s largest MedTech service provider, which was built from an idea in 2007 to a company valued at $385M in 2022.  RQM+’s mission since inception has been to improve people’s lives…patients, employees, and clients.  Along with focusing on her current role as Vice Chairman of RQM+, mother to her three adult children, and wife of over 30 years to her hysterical husband (Tom), Maria is focused on being the best speaker, mentor, investor, artist (abstract/cold wax), and soon-to-be-author she can be….all with a focus on improving people’s lives.  Do good things!  That is her mission. 

Richard Childress

Richard Childress is the Chairman and CEO of Richard Childress Racing, a renowned, performance-driven racing, marketing and manufacturing organization with over 200 victories and 17 championships. A former NASCAR driver himself, Childress got his start in 1969 and earned 76 top-10 finishes in 285 races before handing over driving duties to Dale Earnhardt in 1981. Together, they established RCR as one of the premier teams in all of motorsports. Childress is also the proprietor of Childress Vineyards, founder of the Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma, and owner of Yadkin River Angus, a Black Angus cattle ranch. He is an avid outdoorsman with a strong commitment to conservation and wildlife preservation.

Gary Kessler

Gary Kessler is the former President & CEO of Carey International, Inc., a private equity-backed, $220 million, tech-enabled business services company. During Gary’s tenure as CEO, Carey transformed the way it conducted business, making the company significantly more profitable and re-shaping the way it went to market, despite operating in an industry that has been significantly disrupted by Uber and Lyft. Gary has extensive M&A experience, created diverse go-to-market strategies, and developed technology solutions to improve scalability within capital- and labor-intensive organizations. A magna cum laude graduate of Hampden-Sydney College, Gary also holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Ali Daubert

Ali Daubert is the Chief Strategy Officer and Head of M&A at Lincoln Property Company, a global, full-service real estate firm. In this role, she helps drive the company’s growth strategy through mergers and acquisitions.

Ali was previously a partner in the Baker Tilly consulting services department. Ali’s primary discipline is transaction services with a focus on buy, sell-side and carve-out engagements. Her background also includes founding and building-out Baker Tilly's fund administration platform (for the private equity and real estate industries), working on strategy and management consulting engagements and developing key accounts throughout the United States. Ali also focuses on identifying and serving private equity firms and their portfolio companies.

During her career, Ali has actively participated in or consulted on more than 150 transactions, totaling more than $5 billion in value.

Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Ali was an investment professional for a private equity firm focused on working with enterprise software companies.There she focused on completing private equity transactions, collaborating closely with management teams on operational initiatives, and active management of several investments. Ali began her career with another large international accounting firm and a mid sized accounting firm, performing audit services. Ali was also a manager for an accounting firm’s transaction advisory services group, working on both transaction due diligence and integration.
